丽思卡尔顿酒店亚太区荣幸宣布将启动第五届2018“亚洲微笑周”为微笑亚洲组织筹集慈善捐款。“亚洲微笑周” 是由丽思卡尔顿品牌发起的一年一度的资金筹集倡议活动，迄今为止，“亚洲微笑周” 已经为微笑亚洲慈善机构共筹集了180多万美元善款为患有唇腭裂等面部畸形的儿童和成人提供免费手术，改变了他们的人生。

微笑亚洲是世界各地独立慈善机构组成的联盟，活跃于孟加拉国、不丹、柬埔寨、中国、中国香港、印度、印度尼西亚、日本、老挝、中国澳门、马来西亚、蒙古、缅甸、菲律宾、新加坡、韩国、泰国、东帝汶、美国和乌兹别克斯坦。联盟派遣医疗志愿者为医疗条件匮乏的偏远地区的患者，尤其是儿童，提供外科治疗，进行矫正、整形外科手术，使他们的生活变得更美好。

2018年“亚洲微笑周”将于5月7日至13日开展。作为丽思卡尔顿酒店品牌倡导关注全球环境和社会责任的“社区足迹”计划的活动之一，超过10,000名来自亚太区25家丽思卡尔顿酒店的绅士淑女将积极参与“亚洲微笑周”活动。

自发起倡议五年以来，亚洲微笑周项目已资助了超过2,000例外科手术，使得数以千计的患者和他们的家人的生活得到改善。亚太区丽思卡尔顿酒店的100多名绅士淑女们以非医疗志愿者的身份，前往偏远地区，加入援助任务。今年，超过30次医疗援助将在中国、印度、印度尼西亚、乌兹别克斯坦、柬埔寨、缅甸和孟加拉国开展。

The Ritz-Carlton hotels of Asia Pacific are proud to support Smile Asia for the fifth consecutive year with Smile Asia Week 2018, the annual regional fundraising initiative by the luxury brand that has raised more than US$1.8 million so far for the global charity, which offers free, life-changing surgeries to children and adults with facial deformities such as cleft lips or palates.

Smile Asia is a global alliance of independent charities with activities in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Timor-Leste, United States and Uzbekistan. It deploys medical volunteers to offer surgical care to patients, especially children, living in remote and medically-inaccessible areas in the region to perform corrective and reconstructive surgeries which have the power to transform their lives for the better.

Smile Asia Week 2018 will run from 7-13 May, with more than 10,000 Ladies and Gentlemen from 25 Ritz-Carlton hotels across Asia-Pacific participating in the initiative as part of the brand’s Community Footprints program, which promotes global environmental and social responsibility.
